The number of MRCs across the nation, and within the state of Massachusetts, has grown by leaps and bounds since the program began.

By early 2007, about forty MRCs across Massachusetts have been registered with the national program office. Units within the state remain in regular contact with each other. Members are invited to each other's training programs, and are eligible to support MRC deployments across the state under certain circumstances. The leaders of these units participate in statewide task forces and conference calls, as well as meetings and events of mutual interest.
